First, I have had chickens for about 5 years and this is the first year I've had problems getting the older ones used to the new, little ones (12 weeks old). I have been noticing they were picking on one in particular. It is one of the littlest. Yesterday, I found her trapped by the older ones. They had picked her head and wing bad enough it was bleeding. Her wing is fine but I'm worried about her head and her eye. I have been able to keep her eye open by soaking it with warm water and a Qtip. They pecked all the skin off her the top of her head and one side is down to bone. She is eating and drinking fine. I have her in a small kennel, inside my house. Is there anything I can do to help with skin regrowth and to keep infection away.
