One of my girls has started trying to get underneath the others. Here's a video:

I'm new to chicken tending. Is this just an amusing behavior or something to be concerned about?

I'm somewhat new to this as well but I can offer that I have had my chickens do this as well. I've seen it in a few situations. The first is where it's the younger chicks trying to get under the bigger chicks (not much older, maybe just hatched earlier and just got big faster). It looks like they're trying to be baby chicks hiding or finding warmth under the mother hen. It could be for security or possibly because they're chilly. In this case, I don't think it means much of anything, just them trying to grow up and maybe being insecure yet.

The other time I've seen a chick climbing under the other one is when it was sick. I had 2 chicks that eventually died, one at 3 weeks old and the other at 4 weeks old. In both cases, these chicks tried to get under the others. They didn't feel well and were trying to get some comfort, again, like being under the mother hen where it's safe and warm and they feel secure. In your video, your chick does not look at all sick to me but it might be a good idea to keep an eye on her and if you see any symptoms, you'll know to quarantine her right away.

Hope this helps,
Guppy
