I have 8 chickens, 3 easter Eggers, two gold sex links, and 3 Blue Plymouth Rock chickens.
They are all 19 weeks old.
I am getting about one egg a day total right now. I noticed the first egg at 17 weeks and it was my Plymouth Rock girls that did it.
Over the past week I've got plenty of rubber eggs and I've seen a few shell less eggs as well.
All eggs have been laid in the egg box.
The girls are in the coop/run until 3-4pm then we let them out to range until dark. While in the coop/run they have free access to purina layer feed as well as oyster shell and water.
I'm wondering if I should be seeing more eggs or if I'm doing something wrong or if I'm still a bit early on expectations for these girls. Any advise or help would be great.

Way early to think you’ll get more. Sometimes it can take longer, but usually around 22-24 weeks is normal. I sometimes get lucky and see an egg at 20 weeks, but that’s a rarity.

You seem to be doing everything right... Just have some patience. I feel the more you watch for eggs the longer they take 😂

And when you say rubber eggs... do you have pics?

Shell-less eggs happen. Sometimes extra calcium helps, but you’re already doing that with the oyster shell and the layer feed. Just keep an eye on it and see if things improve in a week or so once their systems get working without any mishaps.
