Young Chicks with Bloody Butt (pics included)

Both Pineapple and Cakeface (both the same breed, Buff Laced Polish) were more on the aggressive side, but I think they may have been traumatized. A snake had gotten into the chick barn at my feed store and they said it looked like he had tried the chicks, but their bins were too secure. As of this morning, there was no more butt eating.
If Pineapple does keep being a bully, she will get moved in with the 2 week old chicks. She has a home here. Cakeface is going to my brother who has a much smaller flock than I do, so I am glad she is not as violent. Chicks/chickens are vicious and will peck at anything that looks different. My best guess is that Q-Tip and Chaps had the beginning of poopy butt and that is what enticed Pineapple to peck, and peck, and peck.

I just hope that Q-Tip and Chaps are able to make a full recovery.

Buff Laced Polish (not my pic), this is what both Pineapple and Cakeface will grow to look like.

I'm in love

Lol! Q-Tip and Judge are white crested black polish and will grow to look like this. Although I suspect Q-Tip may be a white crested blue since she is noticably lighter than Judge.

They don't seem to be actively bleeding I have them on a dog potty pad and there are not any blood spots.
All the chicks were fine yesterday when we got them.
Or they weren’t. No not actively bleeding is good.

Traumatized or not she turned aggressive. Personally CO2 is a good way to go.

If Pineapple turns out to be a bully, she will go to the 2 week old flock. It is 25 guineas with a few hens to help the flock come back to the coop at night. I am making more frequent checks on them today to make sure I can catch any bullying early.

Um... Will guineas trample her?
