Hello,
I have a duck who will be 1 year old in a week I noticed yesterday evening she was breathing really heavy but I assumed it was because it was 90 degrees and humid, so I gave her a tub with fresh cold water and I figured she's cool down and be fine... I was wrong.
I was outside with them this morning and noticed she's still breathing really heavy and I actually think it's worse. I picked her up and felt around and I don't think she has anything stuck in her throat. But I can actually see and feel her lungs expanding and contracting with each of these horribly forceful breaths she's taking. She's also always been small because she almost died hatching and had some issues but she feels a lot smaller than usual.
I've never had anything like this happen so I'm not sure what I'm looking at. I think she fits the description of wet fowl pox but the website I was reading says that chickens turkey and pigeons. Please help
