Young hen stopped layin

My young light Brahma had started laying pretty regularly but has now stopped. She seems healthy and fine, but the odd thing is that she goes to the nest and sits there a while but then jumps down and there is no egg. Her behavior is otherwise normal and I see no distress. Will she resume actually producing eggs again one of these days?

could she be going broody? thats the only thing off the top of my mind!

Sometimes birds will take breaks. If her behavior is otherwise normal I wouldn't worry too much about it. Brahmas aren't known to be the best layers anyhow.
