Young hen that started laying then stopped.

I've had it happen, not with an Easter egger but a faverolles. I'm still waiting for her to lay again, last egg was in early October.

I have two Faverolles that are just about one year old. They are the only two that have been consistent in my flock in the past month.

She seemed so much earlier than my others from years past.
I am feeding them a layer feed of 18% protein, after they finished their molt everyone looked so pretty and fluffy I just decided to keep them on the Hearty Hen instead of just layer feed.
Shes acting perfectly normal. Which I am thankful for that. I'm not expecting to see another blue or greenish tinted egg till spring then I guess.
It's only December and I'm already anxiously waiting for March.

Easter eggers are all over the place. I was surprised to see one of mine started back up laying today. I didn't expect to see an egg until March either. She had molted a few months ago. So you just never know with Easter eggers.

Your pullet began laying at an average age. Easter eggers aren't consistently bred, so production can be all over the place. My current batch are great layers. The last ones were terrible with lots of breaks. It can help to feed a higher protein ration to optimize egg production. Some will lay through the winter and some won't, so I wouldn't be worried as long as she's acting normal.

I Guess that what makes us love the breed even more.... Full of surprises from what they grow into, to what color of egg they lay, to their timing and frequency.

I have same issue, am a first time chicken owner.
2EEs, 1BO, 1BR, 1SLW and 1SexLink all April babies that started laying in August.
1 EE lays blue, other green. Green has kept up 3-4/week same as the heritage browns (sex link hasn’t missed a day since day 1) but we haven’t seen a blue egg since early November. Her comb is pale and smaller than before and her neck feathers a little thin this whole time but doesn’t appear to have truly molted? This is just EE in the winter? Just odd because nobody else is taking the winter off.
