young injured chickens

We had two young chickens together (about 10 weeks old) and they must have gotten into a fight overnight. When we went out this morning, the one chicken had a big bald spot above the base of the tail feathers and was bleeding quite heavily. We separated them and have her penned alone, but what should we do at this point? I'm not worried about ever being able to put them back together, we have plenty of room to keep them apart, but as far as medical attention - is there anything we should be doing at this time?

I have an opinion - go figure.
But chickens don't do much moving around overnight. Bare spots with meat missing where you describe that occur during the night is usually rats.

For medical attention. Put some betadine on the open wound and perhaps some eye grade triple antibiotic.
