Hi All...Ive got a Mille Fleur who has previuously been a very hardy gal. A couple of weeks ago she started to limp. I thought maybe it was mareks because I have had some of that last year, but there is no advance of the symptoms and it really doesnt look like it. She eats and drinks and has been keeping up with the flock but obviously feels sick. I took her inside and she is in a box in the bathroom with feed and water. Her eyes are sort of puffy and pink and she seems sleepy. That was actually her first symptom.I cant feel anything wrong with her legs and she seems to be fine neurologically, except for this limp which may be an injury....I put some antibiotics in her water and she is eating and drinking. Her poop looks normal...she is just weak, sleepy, and her leg hurts her.
Any ideas?
no mites; been treated for them...they have been wormed pretty recently....has had corrid recently for any coccidiosis...
Any help is appreciated.
It doesn't look like mareks to me.
