He doesnt have feathered feet. I dont know if its dominant? Seems like ive hatched babies from the cochin with no feather legs... hmm

I have some SL cochins if you're interested!!! LOL!!! I am not familiar with the dominant thing either. I know the naked neck in turkens is and I think the head feathers in polish is too....but after that, I'm at a loss.

I thought I had more photos in the computer but this is the only one. They are May19 hatch and I have 5 SL and 2 Partridge......I have no need for cochins, they came in the Hatchery surprise. I'm hoping to sell them before the DH gets too attached!!!

AWWW cute but in that ugly cute stage. Hmmmmmmmm

Laced birds in their first set of feathers look a total mess! When they start to get adult feathers, they are properly laced.....

That's interesting. The only decent laced birds I've had were wyandottes & they feathered up laced. As shown in some SLW pics of Katy's. However I've been doing BLR wannabe Orpingtons & they do not feather up with nice lacing. Well to be honest their lacing is never what I'd call 'nice', but their feathers don't even look laced when they first feather up; it becomes more laced like with time.
