This is my hen, Niamh. She was full speed yesterday. Running all around the yard. Today she is barely moving about.

She is no longer standing. That photo was from this morning. She is nearly 7 months old (206 days) and weighs 1.45 kg, 3.2 lbs.

I have brought her into the house where it is 70°F (21C).

Her feces are liquid and bright green.

Her craw was full at bedtime last night. It was empty this morning.

What should I be looking at?

Has she begun to lay yet? If so, when was her last egg and have they been coming regularly?

That green poop could indicate an infection, and it also can signal that she hasn't been eating normally.
I thought she was laying but I had her isolated from everyone else because of an integration for a week and there were no eggs. There was an egg this morning but it could have been one of the big hens that also lays white eggs.

Her craw was full last night. It felt like chicken feed pellets. They have been eating a lot of grass as she did not have access to the yard for that week. She has had access to the yard since Saturday the 18th.

Niamh is more active this morning. Including eating some mealworms! Hooray!

Mrs BY Bob has given her complete run of the house. She is exploring everywhere. Her tail is not up but she definitely has more energy this morning.

I have not done any treatments to this point. I'm going to continue to observe. I will update here as the day goes on.

Thanks for the help so far. Hopefully she is on the way to feeling better and this is not just a burst of energy that will fade.
