I got a 10 week old black polish pullet last week from The Oregon Spring Poultry Swap. Today I went to let her outside to play in the sun and she just stood there with her wings drooped and her tail down. She kept her eyes closed and looked as if she kept falling asleep. She would drop her head and almost fall forward. I brought her inside and tried to get her to eat and drink but she wouldn't on her own. I was able to force her to drink and little and I tried to force feed her but she wouldn't eat. I gave her poly-vi-sol without iron and put electrolytes in her water. I tried to feed her a hard boiled egg that I mushed up but she wouldn't eat that. She is currently laying on my coffee table sleeping I guess. She won't open her eyes and will only stand up if I make her but will only stand for a few minutes before laying back down. Is there anything else I can do for her? Do you know if this is a sign of any kind of disease?
