Young rooster ID

My husband has been asking me to come here and ask what you thought this guy might be. We got him from a feed store for $5.00 and the only things the man could tell us is that it was not a fighting rooster, was mixed and very young. Any ideas? It doesn't matter to me what he is. I just know he looks super cool in person and he does crow already.

Forgot to mention we were told he is also not a meat rooster.

Is he a large fowl or a bantam? To me he almost looks like a Sebright cross.

We honestly have no idea. We are new to chickens.... I just looked up Sebright and it does look like you are right. It would be nice if he did stay smaller so my nephews won't be afraid of him. Thank you for responding!!!

I think he looks like a mix between Serama and Sebright.

Looks like a Sebright mix to me. Pretty little boy!
