young rooster just got aggressive

Our Black Australorp. When he's giving us the stink-eye, his head is way down low and you can feel the "nasty" he emanates.

Was he aggressive at all with the hens when he was just starting to crow and starting to mount? mine seems to be a little more aggressive to the hens now that he's the top roo he doesn't try to attack me or anything but they have a constant supply of layer feed I have a laying rir and another mixed the rest are about to start laying soon so I still give them grower or flock raiser feed in the afternoons after school when I feed them all I scatter it around and when everyone's eating he seems to give the hens a few pecks and does his mating dance a lot but he also tries to chase them away only when they are eating tho he's sweet when all the food is Gone he just acts like a normal roo I hope he learns he also alerts them to treats but it's just when I scatter the food on the ground.

Any advice ?

No He has never been aggressive to them some of my girls do make a bit of a fuss when he grabs them to try to mount them but I think its just that they aren't ready and don't want anything to do with it just like I get with my hubby lol he would push his way into the pile for food and treats but now he just takes the treats from our hand and drops most of it for the girls first he is great to the girls he lets them go first and don't make a fuss when they take the treats out of his beak the only problem with him is his need to protect the girls from us but we are making progress with the training
