Young tom 'stomping'?

What is this? I first noticed him doing it one day when I went to feed them, but now I'm hearing it at all times. I assume it's some kind of mating ritual, but just checking to be sure.

Yes, the males do their mating dance and it envolves the "Stomp." I've seen them start doing that at several weeks old when they start strutting. Some take longer. They are so funny when they do it so young because they are so SERIOUS about it! Never a dull moment around turkeys!!!

Well he's about 7 months old or so, and the first time I noticed it was maybe a week ago if that. He's not much for doing things too early lol
