Young white Silkie cockerel - Catdance Silkies

This is the second of several auctions I'll be posting this week as time allows. Unfortunately, it just has not stopped raining here, so I've only been able to get a few shots of some of the birds in between downpours This lovely white cockerel is really a nice boy - great type, comb, foot feathering etc., BUT both of his middle toes are crooked. I've hatched tons of chicks from this white lineage and have never seen this before, so am fairly sure this occurred during incubation. If he was not related to all of my birds, I would not hesitate to use this boy in the breeding pen. I'm hoping someone will want to take a chance on him so he doesn't have to be silkie soup. Prefer to sell locally, but I can ship him also. Shipping inculdes a new box, fresh fruits and vegies to keep him hydrated on his journey and delivery to the Portland airport po so his journey is not delayed. If shipping is significantly less to your location, the ship charges would be lower. I'll be getting ready for the silkie nationals next week, so can ship the week of 4/18. Ok - here is a pic of his feet, dirt and all. That's the beginning of a spur above the 4/5 toes on the right. I forgot to add that the flock is NPIP certified & AI tested clean and all birds are vaccinated for Marek's Disease at hatch.
