I went to Palisade, CO for my birthday last weekend and enjoyed harvesting a few cases worth of delicious peaches with my dear sister, my darling daughter #1, and the wonderful grandkids. I brought home Contender and Cresthaven. It was Perfect.

The "traditional " cantaloupe that I ate today had nowhere near the flavor of those I've been eating for weeks.

I found a tiny watermelon buried in the grass.

The tomatoes have decided it's time to fruit. So have the peppers. Cucumbers are slowing down. I don't think I'll do a real adaptation project on those, once I have something that thrives with no inputs.

When fully ripe the core pretty much disappears but before that it can be major.

These pound plus tomatoes would need to be trimmed to fit on a store bought slice of bread.

....2025 is coming to an end...so I hope 2026 I will have some vegetables grown in my garden.

We have been having excessive and prolong rain so everything is rotten, especially tomatoes, they do not like too much water.
