I noticed 2 lettuce heads are in the garden with the weeds.

Found a few heads of orange colored cauliflower yesterday afternoon along with a few more heads of cabbage that will keep us in cabbage for a couple of weeks. Now I want a slab of good corned beef.

Moved a Black Cherry tomato to the garden.

I think the green beans are going to be ok. The rain had really beat them down. I pruned out the damaged foliage and they have perked up some.

Tomorrow I will cut some cabbage for Sunday dinner.

Potato foliage is looking poor.
I think I will also dig a few potatoes.

I found a few of these.

I need the weather to warm up so I can get the starts out of the green house in to the ground. The plants are huge! I think these are the best looking starts I've ever started.

Your cabbage is pretty!

My tomatoes are still green.

But my beans continue to produce.

I froze another 5 bags today, each bag had about 25 beans in it. The second sowing is beginning to blossom.


Picked my first Summer squash!

I did not freeze it...it was delicious!

And here we have just had our 1st decent rains of the Autumn - farmers had been getting worried. But my bulbs were coming up, so maybe they knew something, or maybe it was cause I was madly watering.

Ugh, so jealous of everyone's longer growing season. I'm going to be just putting my garden in this weekend
