What are the genetics behind blue eyes and how do you breed for them?
Where do you start?

I didn’t see part of this thread where you replied re the blue eyed chicken. I was looking at one of the gray hens where there was just a spot of blue that did look like a reflection! Now I can see the bird she was asking about. Truly amazing color! Where does the blue eye come from? Did any of the chicks get the blue? Well I did not want you to think I was implying fake pic or anything. My uploading times were just way off!

Omg, that first roo is so handsome!

I have 5 breeding pens
my first pen has 7 its just a random pen with two blrw roos and a variety of hens
2nd coop has two blue ams over blue wyandottes and blue ameraucan hen total is 5
3rd pen is my lav orp roo over black wyandottes and black am hens total in that pen is 5
4th pen is my blrw/mottled pen has a split mottled roo over split mottled hens and speckled sussex hens total is 5
5th pen has 5 chocolate wyandottes hens in it as both roos for them died so really no use for that pen right now I dont have pics but I do have videos on my yt channel but heres some pics of my next years breeders all is for my own personal line I don't sell any

Okay after studying the photo better I may have to agree with y'all. It's a very saturated blue and doesn't really look real. @Poultrybonkers if it is real can you post more photos of that bird?
