oh and btw, the peafowl you've seen that are 'albino' are not really albino, they are white (which is technically the absence of color so white could be any color--genetically speaking).

I laughed my head off!!
I have two "albino" peachicks and they aren't very "rare"!!
"White" is the 2nd most common color in peafowl, next to India Blue. Everyone should have a couple of peas running around their place. I just love my 6.
I really want to get some Black Shouldered peas...

I admit I never knew there wasn't a such thing as an "albino" peacock/peahen! The one live white peacock I've seen had red eyes - or at least they looked red from the angle I had of it!
