Your expert advice please , incubating Pekin eggs

Oh I have found out just now that it is also to stop the membrane under the shell from getting too leathery during hatching and preventing them from being able to zip easily... so I’m not an expert at this yet, but
I hope i helped:thumbsup

Interesting and thanks to all of you , I can't wait to give it a try .
You've gotta love a good debate like the one on misting ... great info from all sides .
In the gathering/holding period ... max of 10 days ? Turn while in storage ?

The sooner you set the eggs the better.
The longer you wait to set them the higher the chances are they won't hatch.

That being said I wouldn't set eggs over a week old myself.
