I personally like this system of telling the weather, far more reliable than the Weather Channel

String a rock up under the eaves of your house.
If the rock is moving, it is windy.
If the rock is wet, it is rainy.
If the rock is casts a shadow it is sunny
If you can't see the rock, it is foggy.
If there is white stuff on the rock, it is snowing.
If the rock is gone, there is a tornado
