your favorite breeds? need ideas on which breeds to get!

hi! i am trying to decide on some new breeds of chickens to get to add to my flock of five hens and one roo. the hens and roo i have now are all barnyard mixes. any recommendations?

I like Orpingtons and Jersey Giants....they're just gorgeous, big and fluffy!

If you want something different/unique, I'd go with a silkie, they're just too cute and too hilarious not to have at least one in the flock

they are very beautiful chickens

my chickens are of an unknown breed! hahaha they may be mutts but are very sweet even the roo cant resist a good petting! i have 10 eggs in my incubator right now and im very excited to see my new babies!!

I have heard that too. They are also big and they eat a lot and not many eggs a week. I had 2 young roos and they were so sweet and beautiful but they don't sound that practical. Yard art I've heard. But I really want 2.

. They are like a hand full of feathers. With my 2 little guys, that was true. Big clouds floating around your yard.
