I think my climate has a lot to do with it XD I just plant them and spray with pesticides ever so often. Oh and toss down shavings with chicken poop mixed in. Other then that I dont do anything at all. We have a lot of rain, warm weather and mild winters. It usually snows only once a year here, and when it does its a very small snow storm which is melted within 24 hours.
