Your Favorite Poultry Breed (Poll)

Standard chickens: cochins
bantam chickens: polish, mille fleur d'uccles , old english game, and cochins (sorry,couldn't just put one down)
I don't have any other fowl except chickens so I don't have favorites in the others. (makes me want some too bad)

Wow, that's tough!

No question, Barred Rocks are my favorite large fowl. Ameraucana are in close second.

My favorite bantam breed at the moment would be a tie between Cochins (Cochins are a perennial favorite --- frizzle Cochins, in particular), Silkies, and Moderns. I'm crazy about ALL my bantam breeds except the Seramas and I'm sure they'll grow on me eventually.

Favorite turkey breed is Royal Palm, with our Eastern Wild in second.

On the ducks, I don't have a favorite. I've raised Runners, Rouens, Crested Whites, Blue Swedes, and Pekins --- and none of them really appeal to me.
Maybe I just don't care for ducks?? They are all cute, but none have been personable.

I don't know enough about peacocks, geese or pheasants to have a favorite breed.

Bantam chicken: Serama
Duck: white Call ducks
Goose: the ones with the frilly back
Peafowl: White
Quial: Button
Pheasant: Red-golden
Turkey: ???
Others: Sweet little guinea hens

after studying the results I have determined the following:

Best breed: BUCKEYES followed by barred Rocks
best banty: NONE we only like REAL chickens
duck: anything that QUAKES
GOOSE: cooked
Other: Guineas
