Your favorite splurge

When money isn't tight and all the chores are done. What is your favorite way to spoil yourself? Do you go to a favorite restaurant or take a weekend trip away? What do your order or where do you go?

My favorite thing is to take a weekend trip to the Oregon Coast and eat seafood, then take a walk on the beach when it's just getting dark out. After that head back to the hotel and sit on the deck and drink hot chocolate. That's my little slice of heaven. What's yours?

Once a year in Septembers I head off to VA Beach with my daughter and sister to sit on the beach in the evenings and go to seafood places.. Hubby takes care of the henhouse for me.

Ive long considered myself a strange one, when I have extra money you will find me in the grocery store. There were times in my life where all I had in the house were tater tots and pasta so I think its just kind of stuck with me. But a small splurge may be ice cream or dinner at Dennys with my kids. We try to take an over night or day trip every year because we cant have a real vacation. Next year will be our big vacation when my sister graduates law school in Boston.

hehe,, i remember times when i would have given my house away for tater-tots!!

and i guess my biggest splurge is,,,,gold,,i buy gold instead of a savings account

"Splurging" for me would be going to a place in the country, peace and quiet, a good book.
I dont think that would change much no matter on money or circumstance. Oops, forgot, PUMPKIN SPICE CAPPUCINO!
