Well if she is still laying that is good.
Someone slept in the nesting box the other night and left no egg... slackers
Been rainy and very muggy here, down to 1 egg a day for 2 days. Course they are just starting to lay so I am not worried.

She was in the neast box all day yeaster day and no egg I think it's official she's broody

Haha so while concentrating on Barbecue and her being broody and even seeing Chicky in the nest box then get out (no egg) get back in get out (no egg) Later I collect what I thought was Goldie's it was a bit strange that the color was different shade and gave it no other thought.
Next day no eggs at all, then again next day no eggs at all. Today saw Barbecue in the nest yay she gave us an egg and it was back to her normal color.
Whent to put the girls in the run so I could get kids from school, and just because (did not think Barbecue would give us an egg due to the broody thing ) I looked in the nest box and an egg a brown egg not Goldie's normal color. Was thinking did Goldie lay 2 today I read about that but why would they be different colors.
Then compared the eggs and it was the same color as the one before that looked different and they are smaller so long story Chicky layed her first egg the day I saw her in the nest box so yay 3 out of 4

Looks like Chicky was getting credit for Blackys eggs. Blacky was in the nest box as soon as she left we all went running to the coop and yep the eggs looked exactly like what we thought were Chicky. The egg was the same size as the others so not a normal small first egg

That makes much more sense. Chicky's should be white or blue

That's what I had thought too but when she was in the nest box I assumed it was her. Looking forward to hopefully a blue

I sold a Dozen of the Pee Wee eggs this morning for $2. I have gotten close to a little over a dozen before that.
So it helps with Organic Feed.
