That's strange. Last year my leghorns started to lay first at like 18 weeks

I know. The leghorns were suppose to start laying weeks ago!

Their combs and waddles are very slow developing and turning red. Their feathers are a beautiful white! Their tail feathers are straight up, like a plane's tail.

I walk the pastures daily and look for hidden eggs. *sigh*

Can't figure out how to get the pics off my phone and on the computer to upload. I am sure they are definitely GIRLS, not boys.

My one that is yet to lay came out of the coop singing her head off. I thought she did an egg so I RAN out saying Good Kate Good girl !

Kate is the only one not laying of the 4.
BUT, I am getting 2 of the 1.7 oz egg and 1 of the 1.4 oz egg.
So i am happy.

Hey, @hlhutchinson, I moved over so you would have plenty of room to continue...

My ISA Browns (of age plus) have been practicing singing for months now. Still, no egg. Just walnuts. My other four breeds (of age) are not even practicing singing.
