Your oldest hen

    What is your oldest hen or one you know and how long did they lay?

    My Goldilocks is 16, 17 in March. She laid an egg last weekend. She is an buff orpington cross, maybe she is even straight orp. Ill phone the breeder to find out.

    My oldest is 14 and still lays 90 or so eggs a year. She is a rarity in that.

    My oldest are young at 4 years old but they lay every few days... and love to hide their eggs. They are black sexlinks.

    My oldest hen is a Black and White Leghorn mix hen named Obelisk the Tormentor. She's just about 4&1/2 years old.

    my oldest are not really that old they are 5yrs and they lay everyday really hard around these parts to get one as old as some of the others up there ^ I wish it were possible.

    My oldest isn't old at all. Only about 2yrs.
