your quail recipes

i just got into quail and am going to eat a couple of my bobwhites if you dont mind i would love to hear some of your recipes on how to cook them,and im thinking about eating some of their eggs any ideas on how to eat them ?? thanks for any advise

Quail. Yum. I just saute them whole in some real butter. Don't get them too done, or they will dry out. Medium well is about what I like.

This is now my favorite quial recipe: Blackened Quail

Clean Quail and cut out the backbone and open the quail up so that it lays as flat as you can get it.

Heat black iron skillet until veggie oil just starts to smoke

Dredge quail in butter then sprinkle with favorite blackening season

Put quail in skillet for a few minutes on each side, you can use another skillet on top of the quail to help keep them flat
