We live in a city and need to figure this out. 11 weeks old, for the last five weeks on about 1 out of 2 mornings honeycomb has been crowing about 6 times in a row when I let our chickens out of the coop, but not again all day long. A 4H friend who knows a lot about chickens counted the points on honeycombs comb and examined her wing feathers and pronounced it is she (100% sure). She (?) is the dominant hen of 3. If a he, he'll have to leave our small flock. Please make your vote!
thanks!
