Your worst and best Christmas present ~

You know.... trolling is a bit of a no-no here.
Just because you have a family that seems to be wonderful does not mean the rest of us have the same thing. I owe no one an explanation of the illegal and questionable activities that has been leveled at us from this woman. You don't like that? Tough. Have no concept of how an in law can be this way? Lucky you.
Now if you'll kindly DROP this we can continue on with a rather interesting and funny thread.

Trolling?Trolling is posting to upset someone.I'm posting to ask a question. It's just so many people don't like thier RILs and I'm asking why.Yes,I have no concept of how an in law can be this way,BECAUSE YOUNG CHILDREN DON'T HAVE MANY RILs.The thing is,If families are supposed to be so wonderful,I don'tsee how your MIL could hate you.For what? You've done nothing wrong. Now,if you'll kindly share your story. You don't want to? K.

As long as I know I've been treated kindly and taken seirioudly,I will leave this subject as just that.

Be careful FluffyColor... you're going to get this thread locked...

Can we please DROP this? If you would like to talk about it pm each other or start a new thread. This is a cool thread and we do not want it to get locked.

Good idea.
Maxx and I are both minors too, FluffyColor, but obviously some people's in-laws have grudges. Let's just leave it at that.

My best gift was 2 years ago when my whole family.... Dad, Mom, Brother and his family, Sister and her family, Nieces, nephews, etc. all cam to our house for Christmas dinner. I loved it. I feel it won't happen again since things have been said and things that have happened and now Mom & Sis is upset and Mom & Brothers GF isn't speaking.

why can't they just get along!!!

Anyway.....

My worst gift was 2 years ago from the Monster in law, no comment needed this is the way I feel about her, anyways she gave me a wallet that was used that actually already had someone else's name on the box.

What is worng with her!!

Oh, well.....It's not about family gatherings or gift givings or receivings.....it's about a Saviour that was born in Bethlehem and went to Calvary.

when i was in highschool, my boyfriend was bragging how he got 250 dollars for christmas and was going christmas shopping..he called later and said he wanted to bring me my present. he gave me a little wrapped box with a bow on it and i just knew it was earrings, a necklace, or something because it rattled when you shook the box. after he had gone i unwrapped it as fast as i could and it was........
one of those 96 cent box of russel stover chocolates! there were 3 pieces in the box and thats it.

Best gift-- A black cocker spaniel puppy when I was 14, my birthday is Oct 19, ( tomorrow!) but the year I got the puppy for christmas, my older sister was killed by a drunk driver on Oct 12th, it was a very difficult birthday. So I had asked my parents continually prior to that to have a dog but they always said no because we had a family dog. I kept telling my parents I wanted to be a veterinarian and wanted my own pet to train, take care of etc. I had given up the year prior and quit asking them. But that Christmas after I lost my sister, I got the surprise of my life when on Christmas Eve my mom came in the house with a black puppy with a red bow. My sister's and brothers were as shocked as I was.. My "Angus"

was my best present ever at a time I really needed a best friend.

Worst gift.. hmm not for Christmas but twice I have had boyfriends break up with me on or the day before my birthday.

I've never had a bad gift. Every year I spend with my family is all I expect, and it's icing on the cake if I get more. I think my fav was when I was 8 or 9 when my SD brought home a mini bike for me

The two weeks we spent tearing it down and rebuilding it from scratch is something I'll remember forever, and christmas day it was done. I think I went through 5 gallons of gas that day.... back when it was .60 a gal
