When you are being toured around somebody's greenhouse you automatically start calculating how many chickens it can hold.

I do that too!!!!! I thought I was the only one! I "discreetly" paced off the neighbor's new big shed and said to myself, "55 chickens. Wow.".
Except for, apparently I said it out loud. Because I got the most interesting looks from everyone.

I have a neighbor who's house if full of chicken decorations. Only thing is, she doesn't have chickens! But anyway, her granddaughter does + plus she wants chickens next year. sooooooo

...when you wear your chicken clothes to go to your neighbors house frantically trying to get all your chicks back ( they all were curious and jumped over )

I totally misread this... and thought.. ohhh they make clothes for their chickens too!!!!

when you are sitting at the table (and you can see the chickens from the window, like me) and you strain your eyes to search for the hen who laid the egg you are enjoying right then. "Oh, there you are. Thank you Penguin for this adorable egg you gave me!"

You make sure to have a wifi camera in the coop so you can watch chicken tv on the go

Or you put a baby monitor in the coop.

How about sitting in the smelly coop for twenty minutes so that the newbie fledglings can run around outside of their cage now that the big ones are roosting?
(See but not touch tactic -- I let the little ones out during the day in a little run now, but for two days, I was only letting them free when I was there to supervise.)
With a flashlight... after dark... and with your adult guinea taking pot shots at your head as you pass by his roosting spot....
