Who knew chickens loved to cuddle?! Actually, she's the only one in the bunch who does. Perhaps a lot of other chickens out there do this? ?

I'm jealous. I've tried to get mine to be more effectionate but haven't had any luck. I'll be trying to pet one while keeping my eye out on the oldest roo incase he is in attack mode that day and having another roo jump into my side after a button on my coat. I do have one hen that doesn't mind being picked up or held for a minute but she would rather be down unless she is having a hard time getting to the food or water and will gladdly let you hold her near it.

Yeah, I'm thinking there won't be any more of her kind. No one else in the flock really likes being touched even.
