YUCK! What do I do with these?!?!

I'm sitting on the couch, relaxing. Then I look down and see this little guy! As it was sitting beside me, I realized it is LAYING EGGS in my sleeping bag!!!! What am I suppose to do with the eggs?!

Shake out your sleeping bag, or vacuum it out. I can see that you have a lightning bug there. I of course never kill those myself, (relocate and release outdoors) but do not get very involved if it was laying eggs.
I'm sure it will lay more eggs in its lifespan.

Similar to lady bugs, Lightning bugs as adults are harmless but their larva are voracious bug eaters so I also vote for outside relocation.

Funny I never really thought that lightning bugs did anything but "light up." I knew they lit up to attact/find a mate but, figured it was just a romp .
