    Have you ever noticed how orange the yolks of your own chickens' eggs are? Mine are so amazing looking even compared to the organic ones I buy at the store.

    A friend of mine from the UK pointed it out. He and his wife always begged for our extra eggs and said they tasted so much better than store bought. Compare a regular store bought egg to one of yours in a pan some time. The color difference with ours was amazing! Ours are bright orange compared to yellow. We feed our chickens a lot of leftovers and organic veggies and fruit that we grow, so that might have something to do with it, or it could be that they're so fresh. Not sure. I wish I could get some cheap organic feed for them, but right now I'm just going with what I can find at Tractor Supply.
