It was crowded, with AWFUL service, unpleasant Italians and the lousiest coffe and food in all the places I was in Italy!
I AGREE the Mediterranean diaet is the best!
We also use a lot of fish, herbs, vegetables, fruits, meat, pultry, olive oil, cheese and legumes!
But of course, with some Buffalo mozzarella?

A Tunisian Fricasse?
I'm sorry for these inconveniences even if I'm not from Venezia![]()
Pizza Margherita is with tomato sauce, oil, Buffalo mozzarella and basil. Pizza Napoletana is without mozzarella but with origan and garlic![]()
Ah so Ceviche is a South American meal!![]()
Yum! I have tried Fricassee but not the Tunisian recipe![]()
Tomato, onion and cheese salad?
I love anchovy fillets on pizza. So:Got it, but what about some anchovy filet on it?
Yum
Home made Humus?

Home made Humus?
I love anchovy fillets on pizza. So:
Pizza Margherita: tomato sauce, oil, mozzarella and basil
Pizza Napoletana: tomato sauce, oil, origan and garlic
Pizza Marinara: tomato sauce, oil, origan, garlic, anchovy fillets and olives
Those kind of pizzas are very traditional, you can find them on the menu in every pizzeria in Italy. But my favorite one is with Pesto, mozzarella and sausages pieces.. I have to make it at home because it's not a very common recipe. What is you favourite pizza?
Never had Hummus but I've heard of it before! ( Is it like Polenta? )
Dried Dates?
Yep, in my region the Pizzaioli usually get confused about Pizza Napoletana and Pizza Marinara recipes, therefore in some pizzerias you can have Napoletana with anchovy fillets and Marinara without anchovy fillets and viceversa in other places! And both are convinced about their opinions ahaha So maybe the true Napoletana is with anchovies, who knows!Io preferisco la pizza marinara, but sometimes I also put on it fresh slices of mushrooms! As you see I am not obligated to tradition!![]()
Not at all pullenta is made from corn meal, Humus is made from chick pea, and sesame past calld Tahini with cummin, salt, garlic and the inevitable olive oil. It is a hole meal in a plate.

My family believe that Napoletana is without anchovies and Marinara with them so I have always prepared them in that way till today
I also do my experiments when I make pizzas at home but when I have guests for dinner or lunch, I prefer the traditional recipes
In that way I am sure that they like them. Other popoular types are pizza with broccoli and sausage pieces, pizza "Mimosa" with mais, prosciutto cotto and panna or pizza "Capricciosa" with tomato sauce, mushrooms, prosciutto cotto, artichoke hearts, olives and mozzarella. I would like to try Hummus
I have never had date syrup but I absolutely have to try it. Is it quite sweet, right? Octopus salad with parsley, a little olive oil and a little lemon juice?

Really!?I think that pizza was made ftom what they could find! I also make some wonderful pizzas!![]()
In Rome we tasted one of the best one, with puntarrele, that special Roman vegetable.
You should find someone that make wonderful humus, don't compromise!
You can use the silan as a sweetner, in cake with yogurt and granola but I make from it with dijon mustard and some honey and Taragon a wonderful dresding for grilld chicken ties in the oven! Wonderful!
Sound Yummy but can't eat octopus squid, shrimp, lobster... ect only fish with scales and fins....religion rules!![]()
What about Shksuka?

Really!?you can't eat all of these things? It's a BIG sacrifice!
I'm curious about the motivation: Is it because they are similar to the mammals? Is it written in the Torah?
