Yuppie backyard chicken site

They are fine with me just a little expensive for molded plastic.

Some of the HOA that do allow a small amount of chickens would never approve of the Eglu as the coop
must somewhat look like the main home and this goes for buildings and doghouses also.
The bright neon etc. colors would be viewed as an eyesore. My brother had trouble with his HOA after
he brought home a little tikes playhouse for his kids because of the bright colors. We had to
disassemble and dye it to match his home color scheme.

That's ridiculous!

The coop may not be my style but it sounds perfect for others. I am for anything that gets folks a little closer to nature. Be it gardening, chicken keeping, wood working. We as a society spend so much time surrounded by technology that working with animals, getting our hands dirty or see the magic of creating something by hand feeds our inner selves. After a full day of working on a computer I really enjoy time in the barn with the horses and chickens. Just think for every tractor or coop that was made to order.... it kept someone else employed. There is room for everyone with chickens. They fit anyone

I lived in a house before I met Michael with strict HOA rules. There was a platoon of old guys on bicycles who would ride around all day with clipboards. These are facsimiles two of the notes they left for me:

On 01-01-2000 it was noted that your garage door was open from 10:00 am to 10:11 am. As you know the CC&R's require all garage doors to be open for no more than 10 minutes.

On 01-02-2000 it was noted by our patrol that the agapanthus in your flower bed had flower stalks without petals. Please make sure all spent flowers are removed.

Can you imagine if I brought a chicken home?
