Zachary, Louisiana Rooster

Yeah, they'll figure it out. If you know anyone wanting a buck, I'll be selling this one. It's time to change him out. He's a naturally polled Nigi. I think he's going to be "borrowed" by another local farm for a few weeks first, though

I'm not very intune with the local goat humans and I am not in need of anouther stink weed as I call them. Watch your buck can be sold with a bonus.... a rooster. Buy one get one free lol

I have worked off and on with about 4 other goatkeepers to borrow/lend/swap out bucks. It is hard for me because my herd is 30 years in the same place and most local minis seem to be related to mine. I'll often buy a buck from No.Louisiana, Texas or Mississippi just to get some new bloodlines in this area. This buck was from Texas stock that a woman in Tickfaw bought. She decided to stick with meat goats and sold all her minis. I generally keep a buck 1 1/2 - 2 years. The farm borrowing my buck raises bees and eating chickens....CornishX. It is very good honey.

Bump on this sale listing...I still have this roo. Free if you want him. He escaped rooster jail late yesterday, hopped back into the other chicken pen and proceded to get his fluffy a$$ kicked. He scrambled out of the melee and I ran him into my yard where he got up into a live oak. This morning he tried to get in with the others again, same result except a few hens joined in the attack. Right now he is sulking in the pen with my male goat who is not liking having a chicken in his pen.
