Zane's still making out fine. DH did the therapy yesterday alone when I went to bed with a migraine from all the stress of the day. I'm blessed to have such a caring hubby. Even if it's not something he's thrilled to do, he does it anyway because it's important to me. Good to have a partner I can count on.

You are absolutely correct here Cyn! Tom goes above and beyond quite often with the chickens it seems. Especially when he performed CPR on dear Velvet yesterday. I know he did what he did to Velvet for "you" also. What a great guy!
Boy o Boy Cyn, reading all the issues with Zane just brings tears to my eyes. I saw the post on Doc Browns site and I hated to even broach the topic with you then. I am so glad Zane is doing so much better. They sure do grab our hearts and wring them out don't they.
Thanks, Jean...I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes...this part just got me...
Through you and your feathered kids. I learned that each chicken has a heart, a soul, that they are more than just an egg. I spend time with them they teach me peace and that the simple things in life are there for us to take and hold tight free of charge. In short they taught me that each life is precious even feathered life.
Goddess knows, that's sooo true...
Before I had chickens, I thought they were just good for food...now that I've had them for a few years and the more that you interact with them and see how they interact with each other, it's amazing that other people don't "get" it.

I have one of those husbands also Cyn! He protests a lot that these are my birds, but seems so concerned when something isn't right. I've also seen him bend over and pet them! Shhhh.... I don't think anyone was supposed to know that!
