Thank you. The RIR girls seem to be on the mend. They are acting completely normal except that they haven't started laying again yet. Ruby, the flock leader, has reclaimed her high place on the roost and her color as well as Rosemary's is really good. I think they have gotten over whatever it was. Lorelei, I'm positive, was suffering from something far more serious then they. And I believe it started last summer, the first time she dropped weight and laid strange eggs. This time, she just couldn't recover. Violet won't know why she's missing her other sister now.

I'd take Violet in so she could see her sister and you could tell her that she's gone...it worked with Obelisk when Slifer went. She got over that better than me...
