Zero Eggs!!!

Waiting for chickens to lay eggs is like watching paint dry. I am waiting for mine also and everyone that has seen them says "they will be laying anyday." I am sure they will, on a day I don't go and check on them.

I have also checked mine for everything under the sun,thinking it is something i am doing wrong. I have given up and say they will lay when there ready.I have learned I probably am doing nothing wrong, they just aren't ready yet.I have also given them the pep talk today"No eggs and you"ll all be SOUP."

I just figured they should be laying by now...but i could be wrong bc i was new at this and i had no idea what to feed them or anything. So i guess being new calls for some delays.

Don't be so hard on yourself. You are learning. They might just be late layers. Like I said earlier, mine didn't start laying until November last year. I would just get them the layer food, or grower food depending on which one you want, as soon as you can. Mix the chick starter with the corn until then. You are doing fine.

okay so turnes out i do only have hens and one rooster....i was hoping it was a little different but i guess if i want a mix between the two i will just have to wait for eggs!!!! COME ON EGGS!!!!
