Do you know what breeds you have? Did you get them from a hatchery? Just trying to figure out why no eggs. Please do keep in mind that the age a chicken starts laying varies with each bird. I got pullets hatched in April last year and they didn't start laying until November. Sometimes it just takes longer.

What about the difference if they arnt fully grown?? Can i feed the hens and roosters the same thing?? or do they need different food??

Reply to a couple more posts so you have the ability to post pictures. Maybe if we could see your flock, others could offer more advice. there was an interesting post on here awhile back about a guy who split his chick order with a friend. His chicks got optimum nutrition and his friend's chicks just got corn and goodies. His hens laid early and were fat and healty, his firend's were scraggley and didn't lay, but improved after getting the proper feed. I will look for it and edit this post if I can find it. 2 of them are black with a few white spots on the head and tail, not like the rooster that i have which is Black and white and i believe is a dominecker?? a bunch of white ones with like 2 or 3 random black spots on them. 2 white and tan ones. they could be mixed and im not really worried about it if they are.

You can feed them all the same thing. Personally, I have a mixed flock. Different ages, more than one rooster and some turkeys. I like feeding game bird grow out food to my flock. It has extra protien and no calcuim. I just put out oyster shell for the ones that are laying. You do not have to do this though. The extra calcium in the layer food will not hurt the roosters from what other people on this site have reported.

I can handle that. I will take pictures when i go down and feed them here in a little while. Now is it harmful to feed them like table scraps?? or Bread that you wouldnt feed to your family with like a couple spots of mold or anything?? Since i have Chick Starter for my Quails would it be better for the chickens to have chick starter then just plain corn??

I would stay away from moldy scraps, but table scraps are fine as a treat. If the chick starter is non-medicated, that would be fine too. If it is medicated, I have heard that it might not be good to eat any eggs that they lay until they are off the medication. I have also heard that it won't hurt you. I would say that is your decision to make.

Can i perhaps mix it with the corn?? or just take out the corn all together and go with something else completly??
