But my Son just reminded me last time we did a hatch, we had a troubled chick in the same spot in the bator. Maybe an airflow issue?

Yeah that's possible. Possibly a cool spot or hot spot. I think all incubators have them. Most people just rotate their eggs to different spots so each egg sits in a different spot every day or two. Or just don't put any eggs in that spot anymore.

Well. I hope that's the case. My new incubator will be here Monday and have new hatching eggs arriving for my new project by the end of the week.
