24 hrs?How long has baby been zipping for ?
They can rest a little before fully finishing and pushing out
Often it’s 24 or less after the external pip
Yes.24 hrs?
They should start zipping withing 24hrs of an external pip. The time line is.What if they don't zip?
It also depends greatly on what you are hatching as I know ducks take a lot longer in this process. They should start zipping withing 24hrs of an external pip. The time line is.
-internal pip
-external pip (anywhere between 6-24 hrs usually)
-zip (usually under 24hrs after external pip but I would wait 36hrs after external pip to help)
-hatch (once they start zipping they will not stop for more than 30 seconds until they hatch)
Hope this helps you with your hatch.
I would not help if you do not know what you are doing if you want to help do a lot of research before trying to help it.
