i just thought i should share this with you all since you helped me a lot with the ducks, they went to a new home today. It wasnt because i didnt want them, it was because they had no space to run around in my garden and i felt cruel keeping them in the run or in the pool, the lady they have...

i built them another island not the one i posted on here a different one, and the food and grit bowls fit on the end of the island with plenty room for them both to stand (i say this because they never sit and chill and the island, only stand), now is it ok for me to leave them in the pool all...

as yall probably already know my garden is paving, but the ducks run has a wooden floor with lino over it and sand on top of the lino and straw covering the sand, but the run is far too small its about 15 foot square, they do have a big pool to play in with an island, i was gonna make a new...

i used a travel cot / playpen thing as a brooder, i wouldnt get one of those if i were you i nearly had a nervous breakdown cleaning it everyday

get one of those rigid paddling pools with hard walls i have one of those its easy to clean coz its waterproof obviously lol

im still not sure if i want to get quail, what do you keep yours in? an indoor cage or outside? can they be kept outside? how much room do they need? do they perch on things like other birds do, basically i know nothing about them!

i wish i had a garden like yours... jealous!

she might actually be drunk, i heard on here that if berries from trees and stuff ferment and the ducks eat them then they get drunk maybe its that
