My brothers mother in law told him that when she was young they ate smoked raccoon.
She claimed it was delicious and wanted a younger one, if i had anymore problems with them.
Something that I might try but never thought it was worth breaking out the smoker for.
I have have been able to put very young geese with an old goose who didnt have any babies and they were adopted into the flock with out any problems.

When I am hatching a lot of eggs. I dont use the plastic trays I just fill the metal tray to maximum capacity. Make sure they are so full they dont roll around during a turning cycle or the will break.
The quail trays do double stack if your really going for a big hatch.
