I'm soooooooo excited!!!!!!! After 27 weeks and one day and all the drama raising them. Out of my six girls, I got the first three eggs yesterday!!!!!! :celebrate :celebrate :celebrate SO worth it!!!!!!!!!
The big one is my barn, with an access door to the smaller coop for egg collection. I only have six BO. The barn houses all the feed, pine shavings and wheat straw bails. :D
John, I have really been enjoying your flock stories and fantastic pictures!! Everyday it's a new adventure at your place. Now that mine are getting older and I can sit out and watch them, it's amazing to watch the social interactions. You have a really beautiful and interesting flock :D
Winter is coming, so I have been adding pallet wood to my chicken barn and coop to beef it up and insulate. I love repurposing wood!!!
Then, I ran out of wood, lol.
I really do love my Buffs. They are so sweet and when they see me coming, the race is on to who can get to me first. I'm sure it's because they love me and not that I have meal worms in my pocket....
