    It is very possible that the outlet/receplacle may need to be replaced . But if your cord shows no marks on it , then that contradicts what I've said . Usually when outlets "go bad" the cords show wear on the prongs ( ie...black marks , pocking etc ) . Not really sure what to tell you , unless...

    Ugh, got a meat bird by accident............

    If it's a white cornish cross....better for the animal to be butchered . I've tried to "make them last" no go . Red cornish cross last much longer and have fewer problems . I have 2 of those who are 3 yrs old and still lay .

    They are very cold hardy....would have never thought it myself , but I've owned a few , and have 2 chicks right now . I don't mind their looks , especially since they tend to produce eggs better than some other breeds .JMOA .
