We have one cow and calf and 3 steers. On the hunt for another cow/calf but its getting a tad late for that. Ultimately looking to have 3 cows to breed, 3 yearlings, and 3 calves each summer. No, i have a general contractor. The bank wouldnt allow me to be my own GC. So i found a GC that would sub out work to me. I just finished up all the low voltage and network cabling this morning. ready for the drywall and insulation guys to come this week now!- KlopKlop

Thanks, that means a bunch! With the new house going up, I have been also working on getting the rest of the farm cleaned up and organized so that it doesn't look like an eyesore with the new house haha watching them tear down the old house with an excavator was a very, very satisfied thing :)- KlopKlop

In other news, since I'm not busy enough , i am also in the process of stringing high tension electric fence around the farm. Should have 7 acres in when I'm done. Will have calves and maybe lambs on it next spring!- KlopKlop

I've just been a busy dude! I tried to check in a while back but it seems the iPhone BYC app is hosed again? The last 12 months have been wild for us. Not a great photo but i took my snowmobile out to check my snowfence. it seems to have broken in the middle. Hard to tell from the angle but the snow drift is now taller than the fence! i will have to go out with some long zip ties when the wind dies down and fix it Another dark grainy...- KlopKlop

I have heard the same but I also have read a more recent article that they now have a feed additive that reduces the methane production to much lower numbers.
